One burger contains a total of 140 grams of meat divided into two smash patties. We added ingredients typical of an American burger, as well as LOCLUB's own elements.
What does HEREFORD beef mean?
HEREFORD is not the name of a method of preparing meat. It is a beef breed of cattle that originated in the English county of Herefordshire and gradually spread to farms all over the world.
We didn't want to hide the origin of the meat in our Bacon Smash Burger behind the general label "beef". We use 2 × 70 grams of HEREFORD beef per serving .
When preparing a smash burger, each portion of meat is pressed onto a hot surface. Instead of one thick patty, the Bacon Smash is made up of two thinner, toasted patties.

Each serving of meat is topped with a slice of American cheddar , so you'll find double beef and 2× cheddar in the burger .
We add LOCLUB remoulade, pickles, lettuce, American mustard and bacon chutney to the smash bun . The chutney brings the bacon flavor to the burger itself and also refers to its name Bacon Smash.
Don't look for bacon spread between the buns, though. We serve our bacon spread – bacon mayonnaise – separately with the steak fries that come with the burger. You can dip the fries directly into the bacon mayo.
